Cocktails By The Tatler Bar

TheTatlerBar.com is a result of Tatler Asia’s ongoing strategy to expand its digital services to complement its existing comprehensive luxury lifestyle offering.

The Tatler Bar is the discerning imbiber's latest destination for premium sips from the world’s finest brands. A focus on prized whiskies remains, though the curated collections have been expanded beyond spirits to include premium champagnes and sakes, as well as bar accessories.

This initiative is in addition to the recent launch of the digital platforms Tatler Homes Curates and Tatler Style in August and September respectively. We are delighted to offer three cocktails to consider making at home when next you have a celebration.

FRENCH “CHAMPAGNE” 2021

  • 1.5 oz Gin
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 1.5 Lemon Juice
  • 4 oz Champagne

Method

This cocktail is a spin off of the original French 75, which is a cocktail made from gin, Champagne, lemon juice, and sugar. It is also called a 75 Cocktail, or in French simply a Soixante Quinze. The drink dates to World War I, and an early form was created in 1915 at the New York Bar in Paris—later Harry's New York Bar—by barman Harry MacElhone. The Tatler Barversion is created to send of 2020 and to usher in the year of the OX. Combine gin, syrup, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into an iced champagne glass. Top up with Champagne. Stir gently. Garnish with Lemon twist. Drinkware: Champagne flute

 

XMAS WHITE MARTINI

  • 1part Vanilla Vodka
  • 1 ounce half-and-half
  • Honey and coarse sanding sugar for rim garnish
  • 2 ounce white chocolate liqueur
  • 1 ounce white creme de cacao

Method

Pour the honey into a shallow dish and put the sanding sugar in another shallow dish. Coat the rim of the glass in the honey; then dip the rim in the sugar to coat evenly. Set the glass aside. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the vodka, white chocolate liqueur, creme de cacao, and half-and-half. Shake vigorously and strain into the prepared martini glass. Garnish with a mini candy cane garnish for the season

 

TATLER JINGLE NEGORINI CHRISTMAS

  • 1 oz Gin
  • 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 oz Campari
  • 1/2 Cranberry
  • 1 Sugar Cube
  • 10ml Grenadine
  • 1 Egg

Method

Add ingredients to cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well. Pour and strain into coupe glass. Garnish with lemon twist.

To enhance the customer experience, The Tatler Bar also boasts a physical space located at the Tatler House in Bukit Pasoh Road, where customers can sample some of the whiskies and other fine tipples they want to add to their collection.
