International Women’s Day, held on Sunday 8 March, is dedicated to honour the milestones and contributions of women across the globe.

Zafferano is celebrating this extraordinary occasion with a stunning four-course menu at $68++ per person paired with an exclusive offer of Spumante at $10++ per glass, and Ladies Night special at the alfresco Terrace Lounge with extended free flow hours.

 

Indulge in contemporary Italian cuisine

From Monday 2 to Saturday 7 March 2020, Head Chef Andrea De Paola of Zafferano presents an exquisite four-course menu, available during lunch and dinner.  Elevate your dining experience with a supplement of Spumante at $10++ per glass, offered exclusively to diners enjoying this special menu.

A flavourful appetiser of charcoal-grilled white asparagus topped with smoked mascarpone cream and cured egg yolk forms an alluring prelude to the meal. Continuing to mesmerise the palate is a primi of house-made tagliolini served with red prawn crudo and ikura, boasting divine sweetness from the remarkable Sicilian crustacean and cured salmon roe.

For Zafferano mains, diners have a choice of roasted halibut complemented with a light lemon butter sauce and garnished with confit Italian fennel and herbs crumble, or charcoalgrilled 200 days grain fed Black Angus beef striploin. Grilled to succulent perfection in the Josper charcoal oven, the luscious beef is served with roasted sunchoke cream, blue foot mushrooms, and finished with a drizzle of rosemary jus.

Completing the Zafferano meal is an elegant apple millefoglie. Light and airy layers of apples and puff pastry are paired with olive oil sponge and housemade calvados ice cream, offering irresistible complexity from the base of apple brandy.

In the spirit of the celebration, enjoy a vivacious Ladies Night offer at Zafferano’s rooftop Terrace Lounge, with a spectacular view of the Marina Water Front. On 7 March, from 7pm till 10pm, ladies enjoy unlimited pours of Spumante, house red and white wines, and beer at $50++ per person.
