Is it just me or do Kith cafes seem to be popping up everywhere?  The bloke, #4 and #5 tribe member and I decided to give the new Bukit Timah Road outlet a go for a spot of Saturday morning brekky.  (Oh, when you have five kids to manage who can remember names? Numbers are so much easier!!).

Kith Bukit Timah is conveniently located in a quiet-ish stretch between Tan Kah Kee MRT and Coronation Plaza.  The cafe is bustling when we arrive - the ground floor seating area largely full of families and the obligatory lycra clad cyclists having coffee out on the outside tables (which by the way look nice but can be a little noisy and of course a little hot).  Tribe member #4 who is 11 clearly feels he is being underfed at home as goes for the full Kith breakfast - two big slabs of sourdough toast, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, mushrooms and tomato.  Tribe member number #5 who is 9 settles for a chocolate milkshake and fresh air (clearly he has been fed before) and the bloke goes for granola with fruit and yogurt (yes, I did check that the bloke was indeed the right bloke) and coffee.

All food got the thumbs up ... portion sizes are huge and in fact the Kith Breakfast did provide a few leftovers for the table.  Coffee was good but maybe a little bitter .. no complaints about the milkshakes.  All up .. the cost was just over $50 which for Singapore is not bad.  Clearly Kith are doing something right as they continue to add outlets.  I would recommend it for a hearty breakfast particularly as they allow you to construct your own breakfast plate by ordering toast and sides (a bonus for all the non egg eaters out there).  I must head back to see if they can continue the good work into their lunchtime offering.

Well what a hearty breakfast this is. Never seen anything this good in Singapore in a long time. Must go by and give it a go.
