Singapore's My Little Spanish Place Awarded ICEX Accreditation for Authentic Spanish Cuisine

Published - 25 April 2024, Thursday

My Little Spanish Place, a Spanish restaurant with locations on Bukit Timah Road and Boat Quay in Singapore, has recently gained renowned accreditation from the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX). This award recognises them as an official "Restaurant of Spain," reaffirming their dedication to using real Spanish ingredients and upholding high quality and transparency. This recognition emphasises the restaurant's significance in exhibiting Spain's culinary expertise on a global scale.

My Little Spanish Place's ICEX certification is a noteworthy achievement, recognising it as one of Singapore's finest Spanish restaurants. This honour recognises restaurants that adhere to the values of impartiality, traceability, and transparency, guaranteeing that consumers enjoy authentic Spanish cuisine. This seal of recognition not only recognises the restaurant's commitment to authentic flavours but also marks it as a benchmark for Spanish culinary traditions in the region.

My Little Spanish Place's accreditation is in line with ICEX Spain's overall efforts to promote Spanish food around the world. Following the success of "Eat Spain Drink Spain Singapore 2023," ICEX Spain, through the Economic and Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in Singapore, plans to launch a larger and more ambitious campaign in 2024.

My Little Spanish Place

This year's programme will include 10 distinct gastronomy events that highlight the diversity and healthfulness of Spanish cuisine.

The promotion focuses on 18 Singaporean restaurants that have the "Restaurants From Spain" (RFS) seal, which is represented by a white ceramic hand holding a dish and guarantees quality and authenticity. This project not only promotes Spanish cuisine but also provides a forum for cultural interchange and gastronomic study. My Little Spanish Place's recognition in this context highlights its critical role in promoting Spanish cuisine in Singapore.

The team at Islifearecipe.net is excited! We'll be writing a lot for Expat Choice, so keep an eye out on Islifearecipe.net for the latest on Spanish cuisine.
