Pamper and show appreciation to the extraordinary women in your life this International Women’s Day with The Marmalade Pantry. To celebrate and honour all women, the homegrown bistro is presenting a special rendition of its signature Afternoon Tea Set, as well as new cupcake and cake flavours.
An exclusive from 1 March to 30 April 2022 for dine-in at all outlets and online, the Periwinkle Afternoon Tea Set ($68++ for two persons) features a resplendent array of new as well as signature sweet and savoury treats.
Created just for the occasion are the Purple Yam Macarons, Blush Velvet Petite Cupcakes, and moreish savoury bites such as the Aburi Mentaiko Prawn on Brioche Bun and Roasted Vegetable with Basil Pesto Sandwich.
The tea set is available for takeaway and delivery, as well as dine-in at The Marmalade Pantry Downtown and Novena outlets, 3pm to 6pm daily; dine-in at The Marmalade Pantry ION outlet from 2pm to 6pm from Monday to Thursday; and The Marmalade Pantry Petite Bugis, daily from 2pm to 5pm. The tea set at The Marmalade Pantry Petite Bugis outlet will only include the new, sweet items – Purple Yam Macaron and Blush Velvet Petite Cupcakes.
As one of the official colours for International Women’s Day, purple symbolises many virtues like justice and dignity. Commemorate this special event by luxuriating in the new and dainty Purple Yam Macarons highlighting light and airy macaron shells with a redolent yam and white chocolate ganache filling in between.
The Blush Velvet Petite Cupcakes are fluffy and moist red velvet cupcakes topped with smooth light pink cream cheese frosting and a macaron in assorted flavours of Earl Grey, Chocolate, Raspberry, Lemon, Orange, and Coffee. The cupcake is also available as an à la carte offering ($6++) as the cupcake of the month for March and April.
Tuck into new savoury bites consisting of Aburi Mentaiko Prawn on Brioche Bun and Roasted Vegetable with Basil Pesto Sandwich. The former sees a base of toasted buttery brioche bun, and atop, an umami combination of chopped prawns, Japanese mayonnaise, and mentaiko that has been flame-seared then garnished with chopped chives; the latter is a hearty ciabatta sandwich with a generous schmear of basil pesto and vegetable medley of grilled artichokes, tomatoes, eggplants, and button mushrooms.
Diners can also look forward to perennial favourites such as the Chilli Crab Vol En Vent, Cranberry Chicken Sandwiches, Taro Swiss Rolls, the ever-popular Marmalade plain and raisin Buttermilk Scones, and more. Cleanse the palate with two accompanying pots of artisan tea by homegrown brand Monogram Tea.
Pretty in pink, the Strawberry Madame Whole Cake ($88+, 9-inch for approximately 1.8kg) is available as an ongoing offering for takeaway from 1 March 2022. This elegant rendition of the classic strawberry shortcake features soft and light vanilla sponge cake layered with fresh strawberries and whipped cream, then frosted with a light pink icing accompanied by dehydrated raspberries.
The cake is beautifully adorned with edible rose petals, edible gold leaf flakes, fresh strawberries, and macarons in assorted flavours of Earl Grey, Chocolate, Raspberry, Lemon, Orange, and Coffee.
A minimum of 3 working days (excluding the day of delivery) is required for orders to be processed and delivery arrangements to be confirmed. Orders received after 1pm will be confirmed the next working day.
