Restaurant JAG has planned just for this. Singapore’s only French omakase fine dining establishment has announced a series of Christmas culinary indulgences – from gourmet takeaway hampers for feasts at home to lavish dinner at the restaurant to get diners in the yuletide spirit.

Either enjoy a lavish Takeaway Feast ($700++ for up to six diners) to Celebrate Good Health, Family & Friends at Home or simply indulge with an 8-Course Gourmet Christmas Degustation Menu - $350++ Per Person for Festive Dining.

For hosts throwing a Christmas party for friends and family, a wholesome French heritage inspired Christmas feast is ready to plate at home and create precious memories. Two generous and sumptuous starters, perfect for sharing, sets the tone for the Christmas banquet.

The first appetiser is a whole Foie Gras Terrine (200-250 grams) accompanied with home-made apple chutney. The second is an artisanal smoked salmon served with Chef Jeremy’s earthy beetroot variations and sour cream accentuated with Thym Citron.

Poulet de Bresse and Festive Trimmings

Taking centre stage in this festive feast is the glorious Poulet de Bresse, roasted to perfection with a golden, cracking skin and succulent juicy meat. Reared by only a handful of farmers from the Bresse region of Eastern France, this beautiful bird boasts the pinnacle of French food and wine standards. Still bred according to traditional methods, fed on locally grown grain mix and let to forage in the surrounding wild, Poulet de Bresse is guaranteed the finest chicken in the world.

The classic roasted meat is topped with generous shavings of luxurious black truffle. A rich selection of delicious trimmings include sautéed chestnuts, chestnut purée, braised pumpkin, creamy pumpkin purée, decadent truffle cream and potato confit. French Christmas spread is never complete without a sweet finish. For this takeaway menu, Chef Jeremy has prepared a decadent dark chocolate Bûche de Noël or the symbolic log cake. This traditional dessert is heavenly with a decadent hazelnut praline and sinfully luscious caramel sauce. All deliveries or self-collection only on 24th of December. Restaurant JAG is a French fine dining restaurant, created from a partnership between the talented Michelin-starred chef Jeremy Gillon and managing director Anant Tyagi.

Set over 2 floors in a shophouse along Duxton Rd with a capacity of only 25 guests and a lovely view of our open kitchen, the first floor is perfect for an exclusive romantic or intimate occasion. The bar and lounge on the second floor is cozy and luxurious, with Chesterfields sofas and bar seating’s, fantastic for private business meetings.

Inspired by the beauty and nature of the mountainsides in Savoie, France, 40 indigenous herbs are thoughtfully selected from the region then exclusively flown into Singapore. Every dish is intimately created to highlight the distinctive trait of each herb.

At the heart of every chef and restaurateur is the desire to create and inspire. To craft food and experience in such a way as to leave you wanting more.

As Chef Jeremy puts it, “I like sharing, exchanging and transmitting moment’s of emotion with my clients & my team while creating new and at times surprising flavours. I have an inquisitive nature and avidly enjoy the idea of discovering or rediscovering flavours and being reminded of memories from childhood.”

The artisanal approach at Restaurant JAG is also evident in every detail of the restaurant; From the custom wood and stone work created both locally and worldwide, to the Gueridons in the dining room and the custom glass work from Kimura, Japan, it is the attention to all the small details that communicate who Restaurant JAG is.
