  • Drool-worthy Sandwiches In Singapore

Nothing packs a flavour punch like a well-made sandwich, and we've hardly ever run into someone who wouldn't want a meaty, cheese-filled hoagie in Singapore.

The island has some great sandwich joints, but we've been picky and have brought you the ones we absolutely love. The sandwiches mentioned below are super-delicious and perfect when you're on the move. So, check them out right away! Image Credit: Park Bench Deli Facebook Page

Korio

Korio

Our Friday plans always include devouring a mouth-watering Tuna Melt from Korio. A specialty only available on Fridays, this sandwich has a refreshing tuna salad, cheddar, fried egg, pickled chilli, and tomatoes packed neatly in a sourdough. On other days we tend to binge on their Breakfast Sammy, a crispy SPAM with gribiche, chives, and American cheese in brioche. We also love their Biggie Croque, a smoked turkey ham sandwich with bechamel, cheddar, Swiss cheese, caramelised onions, and mustard. Each sandwich at Korio is loaded and tastes brilliant. Sarnies

Sarnies

Freshly roasted coffee is a rarity in cafes, and Sarnies is one of the rare ones. Awaken your senses with a brilliant cup of coffee followed by their Bacon & Egg Sarnie. They’ve got a variety of nosh to offer at different times of the day and a smashing weekend brunch menu too. One sandwich we cannot resist is their sumptuous Dirty Bird, a sesame bun sandwich with dirty chicken thighs, buttermilk slaw, house pickles, mayonnaise, and honey garlic butter. A vegetarian’s delight, their Grilled Aubergine sandwich is too good to resist. Image Credit: Sarnies Facebook Page

46 Mittsu

46 Mittsu

Ideal for picking up a breakfast sandwich when you’re running awfully late or one of their delicious sandos on the way back home, 46 Mittsu has got it all. We highly recommend their B.E.C for brekkie, made with thick chunks of bacon, light and fluffy scrambled egg, American cheddar, and habanero gribiche. They also have a delicious PBJ Sammie, which they make with chunky peanut butter, blackcurrant rhubarb jam, bacon jam, and cornflakes. Their bacon and beef sandos sell like hotcakes, or well, like hot sandos, and you definitely should try them too! Image Credit: 46 Mittsu Facebook Page

Old classics like Pastrami, Porchetta, and Grilled Cheese never get old, especially when they fall into the hands of culinary experts at Park Bench Deli. Bite greedily into their meat-packed sourdough sandwich with house-smoked pastrami, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, Russian dressing, and a dill pickle on the side. Their grilled cheese comes with a dazzling three-cheese combo of blue cheese, cheddar, and mozzarella, along with pickled onions in a sourdough. Caffe Pralet

Caffe Pralet By Creative Culinaire

Tucked away in Eng Hoon Street, set in a mansion, Caffe Pralet has a lovely vibe owing to its elite neighbourhood and plenty of sunshine coming in. Come down for their sandwiches which are worth every delectable bite. The ones we love include The Har Jeong Gai, Smoked Salmon Hijiki, and Terry’s Cheesy Chick. The latter is perfect for when you’re ravenous, and it has a terrific Japanese braised chuck tender along with nacho cheese, teriyaki glaze, hijiki salad, pickled red onions, and romaine. Yum! Onda by Park Bench Deli

Onda by Park Bench Deli

Cuban food is delectable and is quite popular for its roasted suckling pig, sandwiches, and fried pork rinds. Find the best of Cuba at Onda by PBD and tuck into an authentic Cubano, a sandwich with sweet ham, lechon, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard inside a soft roll bread. Don’t resist their Hot Dog made with sumptuous house-smoked beef frank, pickled peppers, manchego mayo sandwiched in a brioche. Pair your meat-filled bread with La Rosita - an iced coffee made Cuban style with milk and caramel. So refreshing! Image Credit: Park Bench Deli Facebook Page
