Gourmet Trails launches Taste The World™, a month-long dining series in Singapore from Saturday, 4 May to Sunday, 26 May 2024. This one-of-a-kind culinary event brings together seven of Singapore's best gourmet restaurants, inviting customers to sample a diverse array of foreign cuisines. Taste The World™ uses food as a common language to connect cultures and share tales from all over the world.
The festival features prestigious restaurants including Appetite, Hashida, CURE, Canchita, Esquina, Ummi Beirut, and ANJU. Each restaurant represents a distinct cultural tradition, serving meals that reflect their origins while embracing novel techniques and presentations. This collaborative approach to cuisine not only pleases the palate but also offers a deeper tale about diversity and harmony.
Taste The World™ provides a variety of dining experiences, from gourmet casual to fine dining, with tickets costing between $180 and $450. Guests can expect a culinary adventure that crosses boundaries, delving into the complex relationships between food and culture. Patrons who dine at these high-end businesses not only enjoy delicious meals but also contribute to a worthwhile cause. Profits from the event will benefit the United Nations World Food Programme, which supports global hunger relief initiatives.
