As the saying goes, familiarity breeds contempt. Maybe it's just the right time of the year to mix up your dining options, in or out of the safety and comfort of your own home.

Dininf in is here to stay although strange as it may seem, there’s no dearth of options when it comes to finding new dining offerings in Singapore. In fact, here are some recently opened restaurants which we take our hat off to and say, Go for Gold!

Though they are known for their 18-inch pizzas and their tummy-filling calzones, they also serve a variety of pastas including a delicious lasagna. Drop in even for a drink and a snack of olives from Santa Barbara Olive Co., oysters or caviar.

Immerse yourself in the Capital Kitchen experience. Transformed into a unique and intimate space, the elegant lounge oozes both familiarity and novelty. Wine and dine in a space fondly remembered for lively tunes and ebullient nights, with a delectable array of dishes and platters alongside a selection of spirits, wines, sake and cocktails. Due to limited seating, you are encouraged to make a reservation prior to your visit as walk-ins might not be guaranteed.
