Bringing delicate Peranakan flavours to life, Chef Danny Chew has begun serving his masterpieces at Bonding Kitchen. Sit back and let the fun vibes sink in as you binge on Fish & Belinjau Keropok dipped in Sambal Belacan. Go for their signatures like Raw Scallop with Nasi Ulam & Hei Bi Ham, Ayam Buah Keluak, and Sotong Masak Hitam. Their Santorini Bird’s Nest makes for a refreshing drink, and their ice-shaved dessert Chendol is a must-have.

Sommer

Creating magic on each plate of food, Chef Lewis Barker has planned an exquisite three, four, and six-course meals in his new restaurant, Sommer. Delve into their Naturally Leavened Sourdough with a spread of kombu butter as you wait for the rest of your meal. Tuck into fabulous dishes like Dry Aged Duck with sand carrot, buckwheat & liver tartlet, Pumpkin with smoked eel, aged parmesan & onion consommé, and Caramelized White Chocolate with hazelnut, Medjool date & Armagnac. Divine!

Persea

Taking healthy eating to a gourmet level, Persea has introduced us to their low-carb menu, and we’re psyched. Ordering cocktail after cocktail while being on a diet has never been this easy, for all of the fiery concoctions here are without sugar. Their Mediterranean menu packs a punch with every dish, be it their Greek-style Burratina, Cauli-Hummus, or Yoghurt Parfait. We are head-over-heels for their Barramundi with flower clams & saffron beurré blanc and Tzatziki Daiquiri.

Nixta

Relish sumptuous Mexican food like heirloom corn tortillas, handmade salsa, and smoky meats roasted on an open fire at Nixta. Their Wood-Fired Oyster with charred jalapeno butter & “molcajete” tomato vinaigrette is so good we wanted to get up and applaud. Do give their Travis’ Cadillac Fajitas with Tajima wagyu ribeye a try. Their house mole pairs beautifully with the meat, and paired with ember-roasted chiles & onions, mezcal butter, lime, crema, and warm flour tortillas make this dish a treat.

Give your palette and your date a pleasant surprise with refreshing Japanese flavours at Chef Kenjiro “Hatch” Hashida’s new restaurant. The ambiance is elegant and quirky at the same time, and you’ll feel a fun vibe here. Hatch has experimented with classic ingredients, and each plate here showcases his culinary skills. The menu has refined nosh like mackerel sushi, sashimi platter, mochi with burdock root, yam & apple, and belt fish with uni. Yum!
