It’s International Women’s Day 2020 and we invite you to join us for a lunch of inspiration, connection and purpose. We will have the privilege to learn from two amazing speakers, who will share their inspirational career journeys and insights into where we are globally and locally, as well as a panel discussion exploring how we can get to equality, because “Equality is Good for Everyone”.

We all have a part to play in getting to equality, with predictions of achieving it anywhere from 99 to 217 years! But if we don’t get there sooner, will we be in position to tackle the biggest problems the world is facing right now? The environment. Inequality. Human dignity. And more.

Equality is defined across four key pillars: economic opportunity; political empowerment; educational attainment; and health and survival. Unfortunately, all four pillars have suffered reversals in the last few years.

Research indicates that, when there are proactive measures in place to support gender parity and social inclusion, it results in historical imbalances being addressed, and is vital for the health of the global economy, as well as society as a whole.

Five benefits societies experience when achieving equality include: more peace, economic improvements, higher business performance, happier relationships, and better lives for our children. Because equality is good for everyone.

Join us at the InterContinental Phuket and let’s be part of the solution to get to equality sooner, for ourselves and for our children.

Our speakers include:
