Fresh flavours take centre stage for Origin Grill’s Mother’s Day menu, with dishes such as Prawn and Salmon Ceviche, Duck Croquettes, Iberico Pork Rack and Tuna Maguro. Round up the meal with a special Mother’s Day dessert, made with peanut dacquoise, dulcey chocolate, feuilletine crunch, strawberry compote and raspberry yuzu sauce.
Pamper Mum with a luxurious tête-à-tête at The Rose Veranda. From 30 April to 31 May 2022, the Shangri-La Singapore high tea institution since 1991 will serve a special Mother’s Day 3-course High Tea menu featuring its signature sandwiches, mains and three-tiered desserts.
A delightful selection of sandwiches such as Crab and Prawn Sandwich with Avruga Caviar and Fermented Tomato Dressing, Spanish Tuna and Egg Rolls with Coconut Crumbs and more, are served first to the table. A choice of main course including Braised Wagyu Beef Cheek with Red Skin Potatoes and Thyme-Horseradish Sauce, Cod Fish with Green Pea Puree and Red Curry Emulsion or Roasted Chicken with Salsa Verde follows.
End it off with delectable three-tier stand filled with pastry and dessert including Golden Sakura Tea Cake, Ispahan Choux Puff, and signature Vanilla and Rose infused scones and homemade jam. This special menu can also be enjoyed at home, made available as a takeaway option, albeit sans mains.
From 6 to 8 May, an exclusive high tea featuring Korean luxury beauty brand, Sulwhasoo and Korea’s nourishing superfood - Ginseng will also be available at The Rose Veranda. With only limited sets per day, this specially curated menu is a celebration of beauty, and includes one complimentary five-piece Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Kit from the beauty brand for guests to take home. This high tea is priced at $138++ per set (serves 2 persons).
This Mother’s Day weekend (7 – 8 May), The Lobby Lounge collaborates with the renowned Haig Road Putu Piring to present a two-day only pop-up where freshly-made Putu Piring for à la carte order.
Tuck into fluffy Putu Piring – steamed rice cakes encasing a rich filling of gula melaka and served with freshly grated coconut with a tinge of salt - made on the spot in a live station.
