Located at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, visitors get to enjoy experiential learning journeys at the 26-hectare award-winning Singapore Zoo. Singapore Zoo's world-famous naturalistic exhibits offer many opportunities to experience the wonders of wildlife, with more than 4,200 animals of over 300 species, of which 34 percent are threatened.

Singapore Zoo is dedicated to the highest standards of animal care and conservation, with a team of passionate wildlife professionals that look after all aspects of caring for the living collection. The Zoo is famous for its world-leading free-ranging orangutan exhibit and dedicates special attention to threatened primates and threatened southeast Asian chelonians.

Active in national and regional conservation projects, Singapore Zoo is also one of the country’s designated centres for rescued wildlife.

The Zoo is managed by Mandai Wildlife Group and is accredited by two of the top international regional zoo associations—European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA), and Zoo and Aquarium Association of Australasia (ZAA). It is also a member of the Southeast Asian Zoo and Aquarium Association (SEAZA) and the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA).
