In a move that promises an unmatched mix of fun and rest, the Shangri-La Group recently opened The Palawan @ Sentosa, a lifestyle and entertainment district on Singapore's Sentosa Island.
There are many things to do in this 183,000-square-foot haven, including both wet and dry sports, delicious food, and the warm Asian hospitality that Shangri-La is known for.
HyperDrive: Unleashing the Thrills
At the heart of The Palawan @ Sentosa is HyperDrive, the region's premier gamified electric go-karting circuit. This three-level, 308m-long track boasts straightaways and hair-raising turns.
HyperDrive is set to pioneer the 'Game of Karts,' fusing virtual racing with real-life go-karting. Think about entering a virtual gaming realm, collecting bonuses as weapons or boosts, enhanced by sound and lighting effects for an immersive experience. Powered by 36 eco-friendly electric go-karts, HyperDrive accommodates up to 12 karts at a time, with speeds ranging from 30km/h to 50km/h.
The HyperDrive Cafe, with 110 seats, is right next to HyperDrive and has a great view of the tracks for spectators to enjoy while indulging in diner-style classics.
Beyond the Fast Lane: UltraGolf and The Palawan Dog Run
UltraGolf, an 18-hole mini-golf course, is ready for people who want to take a break. With shaped greens and different levels of difficulty, it's a test for both new and experienced players. Sentosa's first and only dog run, The Palawan Dog Run, is close by. It's a safe green area where furry family members can play and meet new people.
HydroDash: Sun, Sea, and Inflatable Fun
HydroDash is Singapore's first floating inflatable playground. It promises thrills and spills against a blue wave background.

The best family-friendly beach club, Splash Tribe, has a water playground with sandcastle-themed play areas, daybeds, sun chairs, and private gazebos. For a touch of exclusivity, +Twelve features distinctive terraced architecture, 12 private cabanas, and a swim-up bar, providing an elevated beach club experience.
For gastronomic adventures, The Palawan Food Trucks boast 10 eclectic options from worldwide cuisines. Blu Kouzina @ Palawan Beach, a Greek restaurant, will join the precinct, offering seafood delights and a children-friendly coastal dining experience.

The Palawan @ Sentosa aligns with sustainable initiatives, featuring uniforms and towels made from recycled ocean plastic and organic cotton. HyperDrive's eco-friendly go-karts and food trucks serving in biodegradable and compostable ware further contribute to a greener experience.
