Their between-shots discussions describe the work of the remarkable scientists who, over the last 2,800 years, have extended our knowledge of the world we live in and given us the vast range of technological gadgets that contribute so much to our modern life. It's an amazing tale told by the golfers in their normal chatty language with no technical jargon which the reader has to puzzle over.

'18 Holes of Quantum Golf is a story that highlights the true value of friendship. It's a book that encourages passion toward one's goals in life and I love how the author used two senior citizens playing a round of golf to show the importance of caring, friendship, love, marriage and, most importantly, to explain how science has enabled us to gain a better understanding about the world around us. Also, I loved the addition of humour in between the lines of the story which adds to the point that the author is explaining. As a lover of history and a science enthusiast, tho' not a golfer, this was a delightful read. The book will be educational for people who want an easy introduction to the growth of science and the many impacts it has had on our modern world.' - Reviewed in Online Book Club - February 2022.

Bob and Alec are following behind an outing of six four-balls, most of whom aren't familiar with the course. This gives them plenty of time to chat between their shots and they both combine to tell the story about the development of modern science from its early day's, 2,800 years ago in Ancient Greece, to the present day. They describe in simple terms the major contributions of exceptional thinkers such as Aristotle, Galileo, Newton and Einstein, as well as many other not so well known scientists.

P.S. It's not all about science. There are other important matters to be discussed and a unique golf match to be won!
