In honour of Singapore's 60th National Day, Singtel is launching a wide range of exclusive perks and promotions aimed at elevating digital experiences across the island. From free 5G+ trials to specifically designed offerings for elders and enhanced data plans for travellers, the telecoms behemoth is spotlighting connectivity and inclusivity during the SG60 festivities.
As part of its SG60 initiative, Singtel is providing a complimentary 60-day Priority Plus 5G+ plan to guests of this year's National Day Parade (NDP) and preview shows. This premium plan, normally priced at S$110, introduces everyday users to enterprise-level features including network slicing, which allows for up to four times faster mobile speeds and higher bandwidth stability in high-traffic environments. The trial includes 600GB of local data, roaming perks, access to Disney+ Premium and HBO Max, advanced generative AI tools, and enhanced security measures.
To activate this deal, guests must scan the QR code on a postcard given with their NDP tickets by August 31, 2025. After scanning, consumers can obtain and activate their free eSIM by following a few simple steps on Singtel's eShop—there is no need to pay or cancel. Once activated, users will have 1,000 minutes of talktime, 1,000 SMS, 3GB of regional roaming data (plus 50GB in Malaysia), and 24/7 protection against malicious online content.
The promotion automatically ends after the 60-day period, but users who wish to retain their benefits can continue on the Priority Plus plan by subscribing through Singtel’s platforms.
Additionally, all Singtel 4G and 5G postpaid customers will receive unlimited local mobile data on National Day from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., which demonstrates Singtel's commitment to nationwide connectivity. Singtel is also increasing data allowances on all 5G+ postpaid mobile plans, notably for customers travelling to Malaysia, with roaming restrictions upped to 50GB.
Singtel is also making 5G more accessible to Singapore's senior citizens. Merdeka and Pioneer Generation users may sign up for a 5G+ mobile plan that includes 180GB of local data, unlimited talktime, and 6GB of Malaysia roaming for only S$6. Furthermore, 6,000 free prepaid 5G SIM cards will be provided to individuals aged 60 and older, bolstering efforts to bridge the digital divide.
Beyond mobile plans, Singtel is delivering a range of value-driven offers across its ecosystem. Until August 7, new signups for 5G+ Priority postpaid phone plans will save up to S$360 on a new device. Singtel TV and CAST are offering English TV packages for just S$6 until the end of the year, and home broadband subscribers can take advantage of Wi-Fi 7 plans priced at S$39.90, which include S$100 in shopping vouchers. Selected entertainment apps on CAST.SG are available for only 60 cents a month for two months.
These SG60 efforts are supported by Singtel's long-standing contribution to Singapore's digital journey, which is highlighted in The Straits Times' multimedia exhibition "Telling The Singapore Story". The exhibition charts Singtel's important role in establishing the city-state's connection and Smart Nation objectives through parts such as "Broadsheet to Broadband". The exhibition will be held at Westgate till August 3rd, then in Raffles City from August 8 to August 17th.
