The F1 weekend in Singapore is never just about the racing. On a restricted-view city street circuit, there has to be more to keep the spectators entertained.

The moment the chequered flag is waved and the engines go quiet, Singapore immediately shifts into after-party mode. This year, I ended up at one of the best after-parties in town, at the Patrón Tequila × Oracle Red Bull Racing Official Afterparty powered by GAIAVIP, and it was a night to remember.

The night began quietly enough. People drifted in, grabbed their first drinks, and sized up the space. But before long, the Capitol Theatre Kempinski was buzzing. The stage was packed, tables were loaded with bottles of tequila and vodka, and wood-fired pizzas made their way through the crowd. The staff never missed a beat; empty glasses disappeared almost instantly.

I found a spot behind the DJ on stage, and the vibe was buzzing even more, but it was very busy and crowded. I slipped into the VIP section on the main floor, which turned out to be the sweet spot. It offers a great view of the stage and easy access to the bar, run by guest mixologists from Employees Only. There was enough space to catch up with friends without getting elbowed by someone dancing too hard. It felt a bit calmer, but I was still right in the thick of the action.

The DJs were on fire. Vidojean from Sweden, Faul & Wad from France, and WITH U from Germany kept everyone grooving with their Afro and melodic house sets that didn’t ease up. Local acts Chichi, Kylie Nicole, and Stephen Day kept the vibe alive, showing off the strength of the Singapore scene.

What I loved was how well thought-out the whole thing felt. GAIAVIP doesn’t just throw parties; they craft experiences. The mix of sounds, the flow of the night, and the little touches around the venue all came together in a way that made the night feel fresh and connected.

I left while the crowd was still lively, the DJs still rocking, and the dance floor full. For me, it was already late, but I walked out knowing I’d been part of something special. Huge thanks to Asmita and Sheena for the invite and the warm hospitality, and to GAIAVIP for once again showing how music brings people together in the best way possible.

A proper F1 weekend night, and one I’ll be talking about for a while.
