It’s heading into October and we’re still getting used to the idea things are not going to change too quickly before 2021.

So, today we put a spotlight on some of the new flavours you can experience right here in our own Island Nation. We highlight new menus around town with international appeal whipped up by some of the best chefs on the island.

Kinki Restaurant + Bar

Funky in design and fun and playful with the menu, Kinki is known for its tantalizing Japanese flavours. To give the diners something new they’ve not only opened up their rooftop for an al fresco experience but also added lip smacking dishes to their menu. Try out their Spicy Buffalo Katsu featuring pork marinated with worcestershire sauce, Japanese chili oil and a seven-spice mix and Crusty Lamb Rack made using a Koji-aged lamb coated with panko and mentaiko. Yum!

Barbary Coast

Expat Choice

If you’ve not been to Barbary Coast before, you must reserve yourself a table for they’ve got some tipsy concoctions you really need to try. To this they’ve added two new mixes - The Weird One (Flor de Caña 12, Makgeolli, strawberry, wheat and oak moss) and Tommy Tomate (Del Maguey Mezcal Vida, tomato, kaffir agave and lime). We recommend pairing these with The Ultimate Charcuterie & Cheese Board.

Reserve a table at Singapore’s most popular steakhouse, Wolfgang and tuck into their new for the month, Italian Menu. Start off your meal with ‘A Pair of Fine De Claire Oysters’ and relish three kinds of USDA Prime steaks - sirloin, ribeye and tenderloin. We recommend their mashed potatoes and creamed spinach for the sides. The oysters and each steak as well as the New York style Cheesecake for dessert are paired with an exquisite Italian wine.
