Information
Tetsuya's serves a Degustation menu of Eight courses. The menu is unique and is based on the Japanese philosophy of using natural seasonal flavours enhanced by classic French technique and utilising the freshest possible ingredients. Tetsuya designed his own zen garden along with an on-site "test kitchen" within the restaurant to enable him to create the constantly evolving and inspiring dishes on which he has built his esteemed international reputation.
Tetsuya's offers one of Sydney's most comprehensive wine lists and our sommeliers will, upon request, match the dishes with wine available by the glass. If you are in a search for a unique fine dining experience with exquisite customer service, you definitely must try Testsuya's. We were amazed by a great knowledge of the food origin and nicely surprised by a quick-witted chat with the assistant restaurant manager Mr. Marcin. Other than that, an outstanding menu ( my partner loved the signature dish Confit of Tasmanian ocean trout, and a favorite dish of mine was the Patagonian toothfish with cannellini beans and Tasmanian truffle), a great selection of cocktails & fortified wines were absolutely the top of our visit. If you want something unexpected, Tetsuya's is the place to eat.

Tetsuya's is housed in the former Suntory building in the centre of Sydney at 529 Kent Street since November 2000. This is the second location of the restaurant, its predecessor in the late 1980s and 1990s having been in a terrace house of a style typical of the Sydney inner-western suburb of Rozelle.
