Creative food inspired by the bustling bistros in the South of France, wines that stand up to the vibrant dishes and service that is warm and relaxed. This is Noir.
Noir Restaurant, a friendly neighbourhood restaurant serving modern French dishes & tasting menus in a stylish, intimate space with dark walls & wood accents in Richmond.
A Richmond bistro humming with quality, energy and comfort, Noir is made for the people of Melbourne; a snack and glass of wine, a quick dinner or settling in for a night out, all of this, is Noir. Irish chef patron Peter Roddy invites you to experience his unique take on modern French dining.
The dining room is dominated by a large blackboard - where they feature their shared tasting menu - and enhanced with fresh flowers, wooden or marble tables, hues of honey and copper and warm lighting.
Everything on the menu is handmade - except for the bread, from the great mate Matt Forbes of Cobb Lane - and they’re great believers in supporting the local Victorian and Australian producers. Video Credit: DANS LE NOIR ? RESTAURANT Image Credit: Noir Restaurant
