Monga Fried Chicken

Monga Fried Chicken

Most people know Korean Fried Chicken as the most famous one around. However, before that got popular, the Taiwanese counterpart had already taken the world of fried chicken by storm, and for good reason. Monga Fried Chicken is one of the absolute favourites if you're looking for ginormous chicken pieces, as thick as 2 cm, marinated in honey and sugar, double fried to make it crisper than ever. The diet can wait till tomorrow, can't it? Image Credit: Monga Fried Chicken Facebook Page

Ah Tan Wings

Fried Chicken

Got a hankering for seafood but still love your good old fried chicken? We recommend the Har Cheong Kai or prawn paste chicken wings. When talking about Har Cheong Kai, Ah Tan Wings I'd usually the first name to come to mind. Think fat and juicy chicken wings made with a crunchy prawn paste batter and luscious chicken meat with a dash of the zesty homemade chilli sauce. Chicken wings and prawns? It does not get better than that! Image Credit: Ah Tan Wings Facebook Page

If you like the batter to be a little on the thinner side, this is the place to be. Chix Hot Chicken

Chix Hot Chicken

If you're planning to devour the chicken from Chix Hot Chicken, make sure you can handle your spice, or prepare to have your mouth on fire. The Nashville style fried chicken is prepared with a wide variety of herbs and spices. Add the world's hottest pepper to that mix and you will definitely need something to wash it down with. Don't worry about the spice so much though, as the dish is served along with bread and pickles to neutralize the heat. If you still can't handle it, call for the chicken and waffles swimming in butter and maple syrup to cool it even more. Either that or a rich, creamy chocolate milkshake should be perfect to end the meal with. Image Credit: Chix Hot Chicken Facebook Page
