It is a creamy Red and Green Velvet Cream Cheese Yule Log with brandied fruits and nuts. Not just this, if you cut open it’s snow-like cream cheese casing you’ll find layers of red and green velvet cake and of the alcohol-drenched nuts. We highly recommend their Fullerton Signature Black Forest Yule Cake with a sinfully rich Valrhona Guanaja mousse, Morello cherry compote and dark chocolate ganache with chocolate sponge. They also have a Teh Tarik Yule Log Cake, Mango Sago Pomelo Yule Log Cake, Coconut Calamansi Yule Log Cake and Ondeh Ondeh Lamington Yule Log Cake with a Gula Menaka mousse, coconut creme and shredded coconut in a pandan chiffon cake.

Gingerbread House, Chocolate Christmas Tree Pralines, liqueur chocolates and panettone, The Ritz-Carlton has an array of festive treats, making it so hard for us to pick. The only thing we’re not unsure of is their Champagne Chocolate Log Cake with a gorgeous starry look to it. This elegant piece of art is made with a trio of dark, milk and white chocolate sponge, champagne, jelly core, orange chocolate, strawberry and lychee ganache with a caramel pecan crispy rice base. As amazing as it sounds, it delivers on the taste too, and we’re loving every bite of it.

Cat and the Fiddle

If there’s one place to rely on getting the creamiest cheesecakes from, it has got to be Cat and the Fiddle. And while their Charred Eclipse, a toasty burnt cheesecake has been adding to our festivities, it is their Christmas special Fantasy in the Woods which has won our heart. This delicious creation is a raspberry chocolate log cake, a roulade made with a silky chocolate cheese filled with hazelnut crisps and a raspberry mousse centre. Have the creamy, chocolatey, crispy, tarty flavours explode in your mouth as this cake brightens up your winter. Plus, all their cakes now are halal-certified.
