  • Casa Pietrasanta Invites All for a New Affordable Italian Private Dining Concept at One North With Degustation Menus Under $75

Ristorante Pietrasanta, everyone’s favourite Italian restaurant, now goes private with Casa Pietrasanta, its new private dining concept opening its doors at One North. Expect the same refined flavours made famous by Chef-Owner Loris Massimini, now curated for smaller, more intimate celebrations.

Birthed from Chef Loris’s passion for cooking and hosting friends, Casa Pietrasanta (which translates to mean home) brings the culinary prowess of chefs cooking up authentic Italian cuisine with Mediterranean touches. The dishes are all odes to the different generations of Italian men and women who enjoy cooking together as a way to bring family and loved ones around the table at the end of a long day.

Casa Pietrasanta's Interior

Tuck into meals of true Italian home and feel in an intimate 20-seater space centred around an open kitchen at Casa Pietrasanta. The unobstructed views serve to bring each diner closer to the workings and passion of Chef Loris, immersing them in a home-like setting within a restaurant where one is free to speak, chat and interact with Chefs.

With a simple and cozy décor, Casa Pietrasanta is also suitable for book-out events, intimate celebrations, and corporate networking dinner. No crowds, no interruptions – just great food and great company in a lovely space.

Stracciatella

Two menus entice for lunch and dinner respectively, each dish presenting the homely emotion and passion of Casa Pietrasanta. 3- and 4-course lunch is priced at $49.90 and $59.90 per person respectively, while 3-course dinner begins at $64.90 per person and $74.90 per person for 4 courses.

For appetisers, take your pick from house signatures like the Seabass Carpaccio brightened with lemon zest and fragranced with pink peppercorn and horseradish or the Stracciatella (additional $5) burrata cream accompanied by 18-month parma ham, semi-dry tomatoes and a home-made balsamic glaze.

The Cinta Tonnata brings thin sliced Korobuta pork shoulder on traditional Piedmont tuna sauce, while the Tortino della Lunigiana is a classical take on the traditional zucchini and red onion frittata from Lunigiana.

Crostone di Parma & Risotto Escargot

Simplicity presents itself with the Cappuccino al Pomodoro traditional Tuscan tomato soup with parmesan cheese foam, and the Crostone di Parma of pizza crouton tomato, rocket salad, parma ham and parmesan cheese.

For mains, the Risotto Escargot (additional $4) is sure to entice with risotto slow-cooked with escargot and fragranced with Brunello de Montalcino brown sauce, as does the Linguine Vongole e Bottarga, made with ample clam and grey mullet bottarga in a rich white wine sauce lifted with fresh tomatoes. The Fettucine “La Bussola” is a plate of carbs well worth the calories with fresh handmade tagliatelle doused in an earthy portobello sauce and laced with pesto and truffle.

For fish, the Roasted Snow Fish is a stellar choice of tender seared snow fish served with green pea puree and lumpfish roe. Also, not to be missed are the Chicken “À la Fricassée” with spring chicken cooked in creamy porcini mushroom sauce with golden and red beetroot and the Guanciale di Manzo (additional $10) of slow-cooked beef cheek in a spicy green sauce, further dressed with red and yellow capcisum.

Tortino alle Mele e Vaniglia

Sweets come in equally delectable options like Tortino alle Mele e Vaniglia, a melt-in-your-mouth apple crumble tart with a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream. Miss not the Gianduiotto al Fior di Latte that marries milk chocolate Gianduiotto with Amarena cherries and milk cream sauce as well as Sharon’s Granita of sweet lychee granita, Prosecco jelly, and Roselle syrup.

Pairing with the menu is a comprehensive list of Italian wines, ranging from white and red to sparkling and prosecco. A select choice of house pours can be tasted by glass (125ml), half bottle (375ml) or full bottle (750ml).

Extending on the wines are dessert wines, grappas and digestives. There are also vintage wine varieties and private collection labels as curated by Chef-Owner Loris Massimini himself, perfect for special occasions.
