Every city needs a bar like Boomarang. Open-air atmosphere and numerous TVs for all sports fans.

A lifeline for those wanting to catch rugby, cricket, league and AFL over a few beers on a hot afternoon.

One of the best Calamari I've ever had! My friend loved her Kangaroo...
Fantastic! Loved it. The staff are fantastic! Great location and nice atmosphere!

As an aussie we regularly attend this bar to watch sport and celebrate Australia Day. The food is incredible and the location by the river is quite nice. The staff are really on point and there are heaps of TVs to watch whatever your sport of choice is. It does get very busy during AFL / F1 etc so I do recommend to call and book a table, and say which sport you are coming to see. I would say the pricing is on the higher side, but if you are with a group, it's easiest just to split the bill between the group.

A great place for families and sports fanatics. It's almost always pumping and has pretty good service. The food is consistently delicious - excellent breakfast options, appetizers and more. Love the roast chicken and the mezzeh plate.
It does get noisy and there are lots of kids running around, so if you're looking for tranquility this isn't the place for you. But it's perfect for Sunday brunch or any other laid back gathering. Never needed a reservation for groups of 4 or smaller.

I really enjoy this place for it's awesome atmosphere of Australian camaraderie! Especially during any football match. The banter between countries is always a friendly one here! The set up of TV screens throughout gives everyone the opportunity to watch from any angle. The staff are super friendly and it couldn't be in a better spot right across the river. I also met my future wife here ;) The only disappointing thing for me is the food isn't very good and the price of the drinks can be quite expensive with an added surcharge.
