The Golden Barley Hotel has been owned by a close-knit group of family and friends for over 25 years. As with the local area, there have been many changes at The Barley, but their ethos of brilliant beer, warm and friendly service and hands-on management has been a constant.
Whether you’re a visitor to Sydney or you live around the corner, in their eyes, you’re a local. They are proud to be a part of the community they live and work in, and enjoy supporting local schools, sporting teams and charities.
They have been the managers of The Golden Barley and custodians of its good name since 2004. They live in the hotel and love nothing more than pouring a good beer and catching up with their customers. You’d be hard-put to come to the hotel and not find one of them around the bar.
