Fugazzi is a New York inspired Italian-American Bar & Dining Room located on Leigh Street, in the heart of Adelaide's CBD brought to you by Masterchef star Laura Sharrad. From the moment you walk in the door the place has a great vibe. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The ambience and decor is amazing. Modern, old world, classy, quirky all rolled into one. Menu includes Roman Vegemite’ Sicilian Anchovy, Whipped Butter, Lemon Finger (9ea). A Whipped Ricotta & Honey, Gnocco Fritto, Black Pepper, EVOO & Sea Salt (18). Potato Cake w Crème Fraiche, Chives, Salmon Roe 9ea or Italian Oscietra Caviar (25ea). Hand Picked Blue Swimmer Crab & Pickled Cucumber Roll (14ea). Raw Tuna, Smoked Mayo, Cured Egg & Chive Crisp 10ea Mortadella Finger Sando, Mayo, Pickled Shallot, Pecorino (8) and not to forget the Lamb Backstrap Skewer ‘Scottadito’ (9ea)
A standout pasta is the Whole Egg Taglierini, Hand Picked Blue Swimmer Crab, Chilli, Garlic, Salmon Roe & Chive (42). Add 5g Italian Oscietra Caviar (+32) and from the grill order the Wood Roast Cabbage, Macadamia Cream, Smoked Butter Sauce (28). For the meat lovers there is a 300g Dry Aged, Grass Fed Angus Scotch Fillet (42) or the sensational 1kg Wagyu Bistecca Alla Fiorentina (Feeds 4) (199). The massive steak is Served w Mustard Leaf Salad, Marsala Roasted Bone Jus & Shallot Butter.
