Singapore City Gallery

Published - 09 January 2018, Tuesday

First opened in 1999, the Singapore City Gallery tells the story of Singapore's physical transformation over the past 50 years.

Make time for highlights like the panoramic sights and sound show, A Day in Singapore and the Central Area Model Light and Sound Show. Or be awed by the architectural models or the various interactive and experiential exhibits in the gallery.

Close to 200,000 people visit the gallery annually. See what they have to say about the gallery.

I visited the gallery and got inspired. I have seen the whole history of Singapore saved in these images. I had a tour last year with my cheap assignment help company and that was my time first. It is way more better than the reviews I heard from the people.

Great place to learn about Singapore. Hop over to Maxwell food centre opposite the road for a quick bite after!

I usually take my visitors there at the beginning of their stay to give them an overview of Singapore, how it has changed over the years and what is in store for us in the future.

Very cool - you can go for just a quick visit (30mins minimum I would say) to spending a few hours there depending on how deep you want to delve into the information.

I enjoy going to the museum, art and galleries. This one was one of my favourite. A unique way of showing us how Singapore has changed in the past 50 years. A must see!

I visited this gallery a few years back. I must go and take a look again. It's really interesting as it lays out the plan of Singapore in a cool model.
