KINTO Japan was founded in 1972 in Hikone City, Shiga Prefecture. They started as a wholesaler of tableware, and later they started planning and developing original products because they wanted to deliver tableware that suits daily lives and flexible lifestyles.

In shaping the image, the design elements are decided by the in-house product team. Eventually, you can collaborate with an outside product designer. Considering the user's usability, we repeat the verification of the prototype many times and pay attention to the invisible details.
They also carefully pursue materials and textures. One of the features of KINTO's products is the combination of different materials such as glass, porcelain, stainless steel, and wood. This is made possible by partnerships with domestic and overseas kilns and suppliers, as well as craftsmen who have been involved in manufacturing for many years.
