D&DEPARTMENT PROJECT

D & DEPARTMENT PROJECT is a store-style activity founded in 2000 by designer Kenmei Nagaoka with the theme of "long life design". Currently, they have 10 stores in Japan and overseas (Hokkaido store, Saitama store, Tokyo store, Toyama store, Kyoto store, Kagoshima store, Okinawa store, Korea / Seoul store, Korea / Jeju store, China / Huangshan store) in the future.

They will create one in each of the 47 prefectures and discover and introduce "a long-lived local design" on a nationwide scale. "60 VISION", which reproduces and resells products that can be said to be the origin of the "ness" of a company, and "NIPPON VISION", which introduces Japan's long-standing traditional crafts and daily necessities in an exhibition format Develop design projects such as "Vision)". In a place where there was no shop around, it was an old apartment or a company entrance, so I was passing by, but it was a menu that emphasizes food, health, and ingredients. It's along the ring eight, but it's a quiet store and a quiet atmosphere staff.
