House spring cleaning does not require pricey gear or harsh chemicals. White vinegar and baking soda are an eco-friendly way to clean and sanitise numerous surfaces in your home. This guide provides practical, simple cleaning solutions to keep your mirrors, kitchen sink, stainless steel appliances, oven, glass hob, cupboards and trash bins pristine.

Combine half a cup of distilled water, one tablespoon of cornstarch and half a cup of white vinegar in a spray bottle to create gleaming mirrors. Apply the mixture to the mirror and wipe it with a microfiber towel or crumpled newspaper in a "S" pattern. Use rubbing alcohol and a clean towel to remove stubborn marks.

Sanitising your kitchen sink is critical since it often contains more bacteria than a toilet seat. For stainless steel sinks, make a paste with the juice of 10 limes and an eight-ounce box of baking soda, then scrub with a sponge. To clean enamel sinks, use a non-abrasive cleanser such as Bon Ami Powder Cleanser and a microfiber cloth. To clean your garbage disposal, soak a loaf of bread in vinegar, load it into the disposal, let it sit for 15 minutes, and then run it with cold water.

Keeping stainless steel surfaces clean is simple with soap and water. Clean the surface with a gentle sponge and mild dish soap, then dry with a dish towel. To remove persistent fingerprints, use a glass cleaner, but avoid abrasive materials that may scratch the surface.

To thoroughly clean your oven, remove the racks and soak them in dishwashing detergent. Make a paste of three-quarter cups baking soda and one-quarter cup water and apply it across the oven interior. Allow it to sit overnight, then remove the paste with a plastic scraper and a moist cloth.

Baking soda and vinegar are effective cleaning agents for glass stovetops. Apply a baking soda paste on the hob, then spritz with vinegar and cover with warm, damp cloths for 30 minutes. To eliminate any remaining residue, wipe off the surface with a clean towel.

To clean cupboards, combine mild liquid soap and water in a spray bottle, apply, then wipe with a clean cloth. To remove difficult stains, apply a baking soda and water mixture with a soft-bristled brush. After emptying and vacuuming the interiors, thoroughly clean them with warm water and detergent.

Finally, disinfect your garbage can by removing any significant debris, cleaning it thoroughly, and spraying it with disinfectant cleaner. Clean the interior and outside with a nylon brush, then rinse and dry well.
