Rumour Has It that this February, Rumours Beach Club will join hands with Two Men Bagel House to throw a two-day party! The two will unveil a special menu available only on both days.
Dress your bum-bum in your best orange outfit and get to play Lucky Dice — amazing prizes are up for grabs! Lucky Dice will be available at 12pm to 1pm and 5pm to 6pm on both days. The best dressed (male, female, and group) guests will also get to win exciting prizes.
Expect a lip-smacking menu specially curated by Two Men Bagel House. Enjoy the best of three worlds with the Meat Platter ($138.80). Tender and juicy, the Smoked Chicken comes with betutu sauce, an aromatic Balinese-style spice mix that packs quite a punch. Dip the slide-off-the-bone short ribs in the accompanying brown sauce and know the meaning of bliss. Delightfully crispy and succulent, the pork jowl is paired impeccably with a sweet char siew sauce. The platter also comes with a side of beans.
Opt for something unique with the amazing Smoked Chicken Bagelwich ($22.80). Smoked chicken betutu, salted cucumber, urap and sambal matah are sandwiched between two freshly made bagels. Are you on a healthy diet? The Acai Bowl is a splendid offering that is beautifully presented — it is chock-full of acai, peach, dragon fruit, homemade granola, goji berries and peanut butter.
Up the indulgence with sides and dessert. The Mac & Cheese Sticks showcases the surprising matrimonial of smoked mac and cheese with scallion drizzle. Superbly addictive, the Mini Bagel Bites see tartufo plum, cherry tomatoes, walnut, rocket and salmoriglio layered between bite-sized bagels. They are then drizzled with a lovely balsamic reduction. Finally, tuck into the PB&J Donuts — the airy fried dough is piped with peanut butter and strawberry jam and then coated with sugar for a crunchy bite.
A party will not be complete without a selection of DJ line-ups and a special saxophone performance. Matty Wainwright will helm the turntable on both 4 and 5 of February. Invited to spin at well-known clubs and venues around the UK, Europe, India, Abu-Dhabi, Bali, Maldives and Singapore, he is best known for his Balearic downbeat sunsets and house music.
For the first night, he will be joined by David Howarth, who has a penchant for chunky beats and big funky baselines. Saxophonist Kaye, who is of Darker Than Wax fame, will also take centre stage from 5pm to 7pm. Then on the 5th, Matty Wainwright will welcome Brendon P, whose repertoire of house, techno, nu-disco, funk, soul, lounge and jazz selections will certainly amp up the party vibes.
