Shangri-La Singapore is inviting guests to continue celebrating the spirit of Breast Cancer Awareness with the Life’s Better in Pink Afternoon Tea, a vibrant collaboration with celebrity pastry chef Anna Polyviou. Running until 16 November 2025 at The Rose Veranda, this limited-time experience brings together creativity, indulgence, and purpose at one of Singapore’s most elegant afternoon tea destinations.
Anna Polyviou, the acclaimed pastry chef known for her bold personality and pink punk flair, rose to fame on MasterChef Australia: Dessert Masters (2023). Her collaboration with Shangri-La Singapore blends imaginative design with exquisite flavours, creating an afternoon tea that delights the senses while championing a meaningful cause.
Guests are invited to step into Anna’s pink-themed world, where culinary art meets compassion. The menu features her showstopping Signature 1-Meter Pavlova served with strawberry yoghurt sorbet and foam, alongside savoury delights such as the Salmon Tube, Goat Cheese Tartlet, and Truffle Donut.
Diners can choose between Seabass or Seared Beef as their main course, complemented by sweet creations like Pink Rose Mousse, Strawberry Panna Cotta, and freshly baked Buttermilk Tea Raisin Scones. The experience is completed with The Rose Veranda’s renowned tea selection, offering a luxurious escape within the city.
The Life’s Better in Pink Afternoon Tea embodies a lasting message of hope and support. Throughout October, Shangri-La Singapore contributed S$5 from every afternoon tea set sold to the Singapore Cancer Society (SCS), extending meaningful aid to programmes focused on cancer prevention, patient care, financial assistance, and palliative support. The initiative underscored the hotel’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility and community wellbeing.

The collaboration was launched with a moving ceremony in early October, where General Manager Stephen Kapek and a panel of distinguished speakers pinned the first pink ribbon on the Ribbon Wall of Hope. Guests were invited to follow suit by adding their own ribbons and messages, transforming the display into a heartfelt symbol of solidarity and encouragement for individuals and families impacted by breast cancer.
Priced at S$68++ per person, the afternoon tea is available every Thursday to Sunday from 12:00pm to 5:00pm at The Rose Veranda, located on the Mezzanine Level of the Tower Wing, 22 Orange Grove Road, Singapore. Bookings can be made by calling +65 6213 4398 or by emailing dining.sls@shangri-la.com
With its blend of flavour, artistry, and purpose, Life’s Better in Pink remains a beautiful reminder that every indulgence can also inspire generosity. For those seeking a refined and meaningful afternoon experience in Singapore, this collaboration between Shangri-La and Anna Polyviou offers the perfect opportunity to savour sweetness with heart.
