The tranquil and reflective season of Autumn brings a new menu at Buona Terra, available until mid-December 2022. Contemporary Italian creations are steeped in deep, comforting flavours synonymous with this bountiful time of the year.
For Resident Chef Denis Lucchi, the first fall of leaves is the herald of a visit to his Uncle’s land near his home for foraging in an idyllic locale, turned a painting of autumnal hues. Nestled between the crystal clear Lake Garda and fertile mountains, the good earth of Brescia, Lombardy in Northern Italy provides wild pickings that sprout abundantly during the season like chestnuts, mushrooms, and berries. Their unsurpassed flavours are etched in Chef Denis’s memories that shape the exquisite Autumn menu at Buona Terra.
Savour the finest ingredients of the season such as fresh Ovuli, Chanterelle and Porcini mushrooms, a medley of root vegetables, chestnuts, figs, and more in gastronomic creations innovatively executed, yet teeming with familiar flavours full of heart. Highlights include Pigeon with Beetroot, Pear and Moscato Sauce.
From end October till December 2022 or when the white truffle season ends, elevate the epicurean experience with the redolent white truffle at a market price - highly coveted for its hallmark fragrance and earthy notes. Coupled with pristine flavours to highlight its distinct aroma and umami at its purest, indulge in this exceptional fungus with creations such as the Tagliolini with Butter Emulsion and the Risotto with Espresso, Parmesan Cheese and Anchovy Sauce.
For lunch, enjoy the 4-Course Menu at $118 per person with two or three wine pairings at $58 and $88 each respectively. Alternatively, opt for the Buona Terra Lunch Experience at 5 courses onwards from $178 per person. Pair your meal with a wine pairing from $168 per person.
