From hawker centres to fine dining establishments, there is something to satisfy every craving in Singapore. However, when hunger strikes in the late hours, finding a place to grab a quick bite can be challenging. Fortunately, Singapore is home to several late-night drive-thrus that can satisfy most of our culinary cravings.
For me, I like to go to drive-thrus for the convenience - you don’t even get out of your car - but if I had to choose it might be the fact it is just something fun to do with friends after a night out or for an easy supper.
Drive-thrus are not uncommon in Singapore, but there aren’t that many late-night options out there. Hopefully, this gives you an excuse to grab your friends and head out in the night. Here are my favourites that I usually go to, including one that you might not be aware of.
McDonald’s Drive-thru (everywhere)
No list is complete without mentioning McDonald’s and they have a lot of drive-thrus in the country. This is our go-to, but mainly because it is everywhere and no matter if I am around my house or at a friend’s, we know that we can grab a burger pretty easily.
I do recommend checking the timing though, as some drive-thrus have changed their closing times, so do a bit of research first. I don’t think I need to explain what McDonald’s is and what they offer - unless you live under a rock.

Al-Azhar (Cheong Chin Nam Road)
If you’re craving for Malay, Indian, Thai, and Western cuisines you can always try Al-Azhar near Beauty World. I usually get their naan and curry, but occasionally I would indulge in some fried rice or noodles after a heavy night out.
They are open till 2 am every day, so you can get your late-night fix easily. I recommend the pickup, so call them in advance to place your order. The staff will let you know the order number and you can drive down to pick it up.

Burger King (SAFRA Choa Chu Kang)
So, we just found out about this a couple of days ago, because one of our friends say it and we popped by that night. Apparently, it is the first Burger King late-night drive-through in Singapore and pretty close to the MRT in Choa Chu Kang.
We sent around midnight and the outlet is actually open till 2 am in the morning. If you are around, I do recommend running over there soon as they are a lot of ongoing promotions.

KFC (Kallang Stadium)
Who doesn’t love fried chicken? Well, most of us do, so that’s why KFC is on my list. We love the classic menu, which offers the usual fare such as the Original Recipe Chicken and the Zinger Burger.
From Sunday to Thursday, this KFC outlet is open till 11 pm but extends to 24 hours on Friday and Saturday.
