Missing Paris because you can’t travel internationally yet? Well, don’t fret, for you can get a taste of Paris in our very own Singapore. Maison Kayser is the closest thing to the French Capital you’ll find here. It’s a place booming with buttery croissants, a cafe au lait and chatter reminiscent of Paris. Well, if you’ve had your fill but still can’t get enough, take a few baked goodies to go and keep the party going on long after you’ve reached home.

Baker extraordinaire Eric Kayser comes up with a creative and unique venture by the name of Maison Kayser. It is open for takeaways and home delivery in this heightened alert, but we hope that they resume dining soon. Situated across the city in six different locations, this bakery is most famous for its invention of the Fermentolevain (a machine used in making and maintaining liquid leaven) used in producing a myriad of sweet and savoury baked delicacies for you to indulge in. If you’re around the place, you should not miss out on their ever so popular croissant. Not for nothing was it named the best croissant by the Parisian newspaper, Figaro.
