Zephyr releases his first foray into the world of Deep House, this Friday 21 January, 2022. Spending a good part of 2021 writing new music in his room in a rental apartment in the Heartlands of Singapore, Zephyr was inspired by new roles in his life on the personal and professional front. My Religion Is Love is a unique house track which combines playful island percussion, hypnotic old school synths, a deep bassline and a catchy vocal chop hook.

My Religion Is Love is entirely made up of Apple Loops and was composed in late 2021. “I wanted to bring my pop arrangement sensibilities to Deep House and see what resulted from it,” he says. “There’s pain in this music, but there’s also hope.” This track is to be followed up with a Vocal Mix which has already been written and recorded.

This track is Zephyr’s first release of 2022, after a full year of working on new music, and older tracks reaching airplay in the U.S. in 2021 and Pakistan in 2020. A YouTuber, recording artist, music producer, life coach and the founder of the 5000 strong Facebook Group, Singapore Music, he has been slowly but steadily gaining influence online.

Previously, his unique style of music met with positive feedback and features regionally including MTV Asia, VH1 India, Coconuts Yangon, and the local press including Expat Choice in Singapore, Yangon and India. “His story is really inspirational.” – Vishen Lakhiani, CEO, Mindvalley
