British Theatre Playhouse

Established in 2004, the British Theatre Playhouse is a theatre and live performance production company based in Singapore with a branch office in London. British Theatre Playhouse works closely with established British playwrights, writers, performers, actors, directors, performers, musical directors, set and costume designers. The Patron of the British Theatre Playhouse in Singapore is the British High Commissioner H.E. Kara Owen, and in Malaysia is the British High Commissioner H.E. Charles Hay.

British Theatre Playhouse is a socially responsible company which supports charities. Through its established "Art for Charity" programme, the company has supported the Business Times Budding Artists Fund, Singapore Red Cross and the International Committee of the Red Cross, Breast Cancer Foundation, HCA Hospice Care, Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund and Viva Foundation, to name a few.

The company has produced many highly successful plays and musicals in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, United Arab Emirates and the UK, such as Agatha Christie’s THE MOUSETRAP and YES, PRIME MINISTER, as well as it has presented music performances such as THE DEFINITIVE RAT PACK, SALUTE TO SINATRA, LEO SAYER IN CONCERT and LET’S DANCE– PAUL ROBERTS SINGS DAVID BOWIE, STARS OF THE WEST END.
