The Lion City is preparing for a transformative experience as The Conscious Festival, organised by Green Is the New Black, returns for its seventh edition from Friday 13 to Sunday 15, October, 2023. Following two successful editions in Paris, Europe, the event is slated to take place at South Beach, an extended eco-lifestyle destination in the heart of Singapore.
For those who are unfamiliar with The Conscious Festival, it is more than simply an event; it is a three-day immersive journey towards sustainability. This B2B2C celebration looks into the future of technology and living, probing the interconnections of climate, impact, and consciousness. The festival's goal is to broaden minds and stimulate actionable change through a blend of music, art, talks, and workshops.
Gamifying Sustainability: The Tree Points Challenge
The gamification of the entire experience is an interesting addition to this year's festival. Attendees are invited to engage on a journey to create the largest forest through significant influence. Participants can earn "tree points" at the event by participating, socialising, and learning. There is no shortage of intriguing activities, ranging from shooting microplastics in the Water Bodies VR game to partaking in live trash art and tarot card readings by an AI tarot.
Inspiring Talks for a Conscious Mindset
The Conscious Festival's speaking sessions are intended to push boundaries and create new avenues for connection and learning. Saturday sessions focus on Mind Futures and AI Futures, with speakers such as Richard Rudd and Evelina Lye. Sunday seminars cover topics such as Regenerative Futures and Our Future Nature, with speakers such as Arizona Muse and Minister Grace Fu.​​​​​​​
Deep Dives at Transformative Workshops
Transformative workshops will be led by expert facilitators on subjects such as youth voices for biodiversity, the interrelated journey of food, transitioning to sustainability in your profession, conscious parenting, dream exploration, and breathwork ceremonies.

Professionals, individuals, families, and aspiring small green warriors are all welcome at the festival. Attendees pay S$20 for two days of The Conscious Festival and all of its activities (early bird tickets are S$15). Those under the age of 18 and students are admitted for free.

Conscious Leaders Boot Camp
On Friday 13 October, 2023, the Conscious Leaders Boot Camp will kick off the festival. This intensive leadership event combines leadership with conscious awareness and rejuvenation. Claudius Steinhoff of Mercedes-Benz Singapore and Natalie Gardiner of L'Oréal will discuss symbiotic leadership, regenerative cities, circular solutions, and AI sustainability.
