Walking out to the open decked balcony with swing chair and wicker furniture did brighten up my mood when I first arrived at the hotel room.
We had booked this room as a party night hangover 'shelter' though the room size is good for 2 to be comfortable.
The one thing that left a deep impression was the outdoor balcony area where friends could gather around and chat. Though we must be mindful of our sound as there is not partition to prevent our sound from disturbing our neighbours.
Was there for a night so I didn't have the chance to explore much.
There is the Chye Seng Huat coffeehouse nearby, some good local hawker fare a stone's throw away. A nice hotel to stay indoors if one wants to get away from the hustle bustle of city life.
