This hotel is rich not only in the decadent desserts that it has to offer but also in its history. Although it was originally built in 1900, it became a hotel only as late as 1929.

The guest list of this hotel is known to have hoarded eminent personalities like The Prince of Wales of England, The Duke of Windsor, and some high-ranking Japanese soldiers during World War II.

Moreover, it also served as a British War Crime Court after World War II. A major historic moment for the hotel was when it became the first in Singapore to house a swimming pool on its premises.

One look at the hotel is enough to be reminded of a quote by Lao Tzu- “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication” Graceful columns and archways, cream and beige colored rooms, and options between a poolside view or a garden view add to the charm.

With as many as six dining options, no one will go hungry at the Goodwood Park Hotel.

Coffee connoisseurs can head to the Coffee Lounge for a quick caffeine boost whereas Gordon Grill boasts a wide array of European delicacies.

The award-winning Min Jiang restaurant is also a part of the restaurant listing if you’re looking for some Sichuan succulents.

Among others, L’Espresso and Deli are the places famous for their afternoon tea and cakes respectively while Highland Bar is the place to be for people looking to lower their inhibitions.

Goodwood Park Hotel offers their version of a Christmas turkey, the ‘Har Cheong’ Turkey with Vegetable Rice accompanied by homemade spicy Thai-style dip and scallion sour cream; It’s the perfect way to add a local twist to your celebrations!

You could also go for their Shredded Turkey with Leek in Sesame Pockets or their Crispy ‘Char Siew’ Turkey with Pine Nuts Kataifi.

They also offer a range of fun Christmas themed desserts such as Christmas Cake in the shape of a log cabin!

Mesmerize yourself by simply looking at the elaborate and magnificent Christmas log cakes by Goodwork Park Hotel for they have outdone themselves. Decorate your table by simply placing their white winter wonderland look-alike, Ivory Christmas Celebration Log Cake or go rustic with their Christmas Holiday Cabin Log Cake with actual cosy-looking chocolate cabins. You can also plan a theme around their Traditional Christmas Chocolate Log Cake resembling log stumps or go for the elegant Goodwood Black Thorn Durian Christmas Log Cake. Last but not the least, the hotel also has a delicious Goodwood “Mao Shan Wang” Durian Christmas Log Cake.

Binge on delicious Taiwanese porridge as it comes with delicious accompaniments in a bento box. Made at the coffee lounge at the Goodwood Park Hotel, the cost is S$13.20 per box plus you can order a whole lot from their ala carte menu.

We love their box ‘A’ for the braised pork belly with dark soy and the sausages are simply amazing.

A piece of history here! Conveniently located at Orchard Road yet away from the hustle and bustle. Go shopping at the nearby Far East Plaza.
