Ciudad Fernandina Hotel was an 18th century heritage house originally owned by the spouses Don Francisco de la Encarnacion and Dona Rosa Anastacia, both Mestizos de Sangley of the Pariancillo de esta Ciudad de Vigan. The hotel was painstakingly renovated following strict guidelines by UNESCO and Vigan Conservation Council.
It is one of the two houses in Vigan built with concrete grand staircase - now laden with narra and kamagong. The original structure was L-shaped, with the west wing added during restoration.
A unique feature of the hotel is an airy courtyard which offers guests respite after seeing the sites Vigan has to offer. For those seeking relaxation, the hotels also has its own spa with services ranging from foot massage, to back and scalp massage, and even paraffin wax.
