A final seaside gathering at Sentosa honours women entrepreneurs and creative founders. Under tropical trees, the Sentosa Festive Market closes its chapter with style and heart.
As the sun lowers itself over Palawan Beach Walk, the light turns honeyed and soft, catching on handmade ceramics, woven textiles, and glass bottles of small-batch elixirs.
For three years, this stretch beneath the tropical canopy of Sentosa has been home to the Sentosa Festive Market, a seaside ritual where Singapore’s creative community gathered in easy conversation with the tide. On 7 and 8 March 2026, from 4pm to 9pm, it takes its final bow at this beloved address with an edition dedicated to International Women’s Day.
There is something fitting about celebrating women in a place defined by openness. The market has long championed “mompreneurs” building businesses between school runs and studio hours, alongside designers, makers and wellness founders shaping thoughtful local brands. This closing chapter feels less like an ending and more like a toast to the resilience and imagination that have quietly powered the scene.
More than 30 local brands will set up under the trees, many of them female-led, offering everything from artisanal crafts and swimwear to natural selfcare, botanical creations and considered pantry treats. The curation remains intentional. Visitors wander, discover, and pause. It is shopping, yes, but unhurried and human, with stories exchanged across trestle tables rather than through screens.
The rhythm of the weekend unfolds gently. Creative workshops invite hands of all ages to try something new, whether it is a tactile craft session or an impromptu pop-up class. Children claim their own corner in a chalk doodle zone that grows more colourful as the evening deepens, while bubbles drift past and dogs pad contentedly between stalls.
A curated sunset playlist by Blackout Agency threads through the trees, setting an understated soundtrack that carries the market from golden hour into dusk.
There is also a playful nod to the occasion in a “Last Hurrah” lucky draw, encouraging guests to scan posters and engage with the makers one more time. Yet the real prize lies in the atmosphere itself. The market has always felt like a small, temporary village by the sea, where conversations spark easily and community feels tangible.
In a city that moves quickly, these slow, sensory gatherings matter. They offer a reminder that lifestyle is not only about where one dines or stays, but how one connects. Against the backdrop of Sentosa’s shoreline, the Sentosa Festive Market has quietly built a space where creativity, entrepreneurship and friendship intersect.
While this edition marks the end of its residency at Palawan Beach Walk, the spirit of Sunday Social will continue to travel to new corners of Singapore. For now, though, the focus is firmly on this final weekend beneath the palms. As daylight fades and the first evening breeze lifts from the water, the market will celebrate not only International Women’s Day, but three years of shared stories by the sea.
