Laguna Phuket, the ultimate of Asian luxury and adventure, will host the 29th edition of the legendary Laguna Phuket Triathlon on Sunday, November 19, 2023. This triathlon, a spectacle of endurance, bravery, and sheer thrill, has become a fixture on the global athletic calendar.
The 29th Laguna Phuket Triathlon, scheduled for Sunday, November 19, 2023, provides a variety of racing categories, including complete Individual and Team Triathlon, Sprint Triathlon, and Duathlon. Participants can register online until November 13 or on race day.
The gorgeous race course is what distinguishes Laguna Phuket Triathlon. Athletes begin the challenge with a swim that crosses both the Andaman Sea and a lovely freshwater lagoon. The cycling segment winds through the gorgeous Phuket countryside and local villages, ending in a heart-pounding rise over the Naithon hills. Finally, the run path covers the entire Laguna Phuket resort, culminating in a triumphant finish in the famed Laguna Grove.
To make travel easier for athletes and their supporters, the Laguna Phuket group's eight hotels have banded together to provide low rates. Guests may easily reach the race location at Laguna Grove by strolling or using the complimentary shuttle buses and boats offered by each Laguna Phuket hotel.
The Laguna Phuket Triathlon has received international respect for its record as Southeast Asia's longest-running and most successful triathlon. In 2020, it was ranked No. 8 on 220 Triathlon Magazine's list of The World's Greatest Tri Swims and No. 5 on Let's Do This's list of the 10 Best Triathlons in the World. The destination itself received recognition as an Honourable Contributor in Sports and Exercise from the Ministry of Tourism and Sports’ Department of Physical Education in 2019.
