Tekka Centre is a multi-use building complex comprising a wet market, food centre and shops, located in the northern corner of Bukit Timah Road and Serangoon Road, in Little India.
Tekka market is Singapore’s most culturally rich market and the largest wet market in Singapore with 284 stalls.
Tekka Market offers fresh produce and dry goods for all kinds of needs, even groceries that could hardly be found at other markets, could be found here in Tekka. While most of Singapore’s wet markets close around noon, Tekka Market opens till late afternoon.

I love this wet market! (I'm lucky to live nearby). You can find so many great ingredients here. Best to go early as possible. I buy most of my veggies at Chia's Vegetable Supplies!! Fantastic choices... a lot that I can't find in the supermarkets.
And, like other wet markets - it may not smell nice, but you'll get over it. Oh, and be careful of what shoes you wear ;) .
