Tokyo Hotarudo is an antique shop quietly blooming in the back street of Asakusa, Japan where you can experience a real atmosphere of Taisho era (1912-1926)
Tokyo Hotarudo, when modern culture flooded into Japan from Western countries and formed a culture which is extremely unique and beautiful.
Their aim is to harmonize generations. Sometimes they combine modern technologies with antiques. Sometimes we combine modern technologies with antiques.
What I care most is that their selection must not be the past nor ultra-modern but something special, which inspires them, even helps us to develop our personality.
