Published - 03 October 2023, Tuesday

Prepare for a literary excursion unlike any other as the Singapore Writers Festival returns triumphantly for its 26th edition! From the 17 to 26 of November, Singapore's largest multilingual literary arts festival will take you on a rollercoaster ride of narrative twists, unexpected combinations, and surprising connections.

This year's Festival is all about embracing the unexpected, with a lineup of revolutionary and genre-defying programmes centred on the topic 'Plot Twist.'

The Festival is available to everyone—children, youths, and adults alike—with approximately 200 in-person programmes and a remarkable lineup of nearly 250 foreign and local presenters. Dive into panel discussions, seminars, meet-the-author sessions, concerts, and exhibitions, all of which promise to pique your interest.

Lemn Sissay, John Patrick Green & Viet Thanh Nguyen

The event features literary luminaries such as Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak, Lemn Sissay, John Patrick Green, and Viet Thanh Nguyen, who is included in this year's Asian-American Focus. Prepare for unexpected twists and turns, such as the Hip Hop 50th Anniversary Programme Series, debates on combat sports and punk rock, interactive walking tours, and programmes that tantalise both your physical and literary taste buds with a focus on food.

The Singapore Writers Festival's unique edition is a literary trip full of twists and turns that you won't want to miss. Purchase Festival Passes for $30 here to reserve your spot. Visit the Festival's website at www.singaporewritersfestival.com for more information.

The Singapore Writers Festival 2023, organised by Arts House Limited (AHL) and commissioned by the National Arts Council (NAC), promises to be a memorable event.
