In September 2025, Singapore's lively art scene welcomed back renowned American pop artist Charles Fazzino, who collaborated with Bruno Gallery Singapore to display his most recent collection, The Unbelievable Island of Singapore at 60. The show, held to commemorate the country's 60th birthday, ran from September 14 to 18, 2025, and invited art fans to witness Fazzino's fun yet detailed 3D narrative.

The showcase featured 120 limited-edition artworks, each of which was hand-assembled, numbered, and decorated with Swarovski crystals. The works, divided into Day Edition and Night Edition pieces, depicted Singapore in vivid detail - lush greenery and lively markets by day, a bright skyline and stunning fireworks by night.

Fazzino built on the success of his sold-out 2015 collection, The Enchanted Island of Singapore, by celebrating the city's dynamic growth and cultural depth. His distinct pop art style provided both locals and international visitors with a visual love letter to Singapore's transformation from a bustling port city to a world-class metropolis.

"This new work is a celebration of Singapore's beauty, both past and present," stated Charles Fazzino during the unveiling.

Renowned American pop artist Charles Fazzino returns to Singapore in partnership with BRUNO Gallery Singapore to unveil a new body of work: The Unbelievable Island of Singapore at 60.

Created in honour of Singapore’s 60th birthday, this exclusive series comprises 120 limited-edition 3D decoupage artworks, offering a dazzling, immersive panorama of the nation through Fazzino’s iconic pop art lens. Presented in two variations - 60 “Day Edition” and 60 “Night Edition” pieces - each artwork is hand-assembled, individually numbered, and adorned with Swarovski crystals, capturing Singapore and its natural and architectural wonders.

Celebrated globally for his vibrant, three-dimensional narratives of cityscapes and cultural landmarks, this collection follows the overwhelming success of Fazzino’s sold-out SG50 tribute, The Enchanted Island of Singapore, created in 2015 to celebrate the country's golden jubilee.

With The Unbelievable Island of Singapore at 60, Fazzino once again blends his signature whimsy and intricate storytelling to reflect the nation’s continued evolution, bridging its rich cultural heritage with its bold, contemporary spirit. “This new work is a celebration of Singapore’s beauty, past and present,” says Charles Fazzino. “I hope it resonates with the same warmth as my 2015 tribute.”

Inspiration Behind The Collection

The Unbelievable Island of Singapore at 60 draws from Fazzino’s travels and his deep admiration for Singapore, a nation that continues to inspire with its dynamic spirit, cultural depth, and iconic skyline. This celebratory collection is both a visual tribute and a personal reflection, capturing the essence of Singapore at a pivotal moment in its history. Through his signature 3D pop art style, Fazzino invites both locals and visitors to see the city through his eyes, honoring the essence of Singapore at a significant moment in its history.

“I am honored that Bruno Art Group asked me to commemorate another milestone in the short but rich history of Singapore. When creating this artwork, my mission was to honor the wonders of this country through its nature, architecture, and culture. I'm excited to share this artwork with the world and hope that the people of Singapore will feel that my artwork does justice to their beautiful country,“ said Charles Fazzino.

An Artist’s’ Ode To The Nation

Building on the legacy of his 2015 piece, The Enchanted Island of Singapore, Fazzino’s new collection offers a fresh and dynamic interpretation through two contrasting themes - Day and Night.

The Day Edition (where the original version has already been acquired by a collector), celebrates Singapore’s lush natural beauty, vibrant streetscapes, and the joyful pulse of daily life. In contrast, the Night Edition highlights the city’s architectural landscape and electrifying nightlife, culminating in a vibrant display of fireworks - a tribute to Singapore’s 60th anniversary.

The Unbelievable Island of Singapore at 60 will be available exclusively through BRUNO Gallery Singapore. The collection consists of 120 limited-edition works - 60 in each edition (Day & Night) with each artwork priced at SGD $18,000 during pre-launch.

This remarkable series stands not only as a celebration of Singapore’s 60th year, but also as a testament to Fazzino’s enduring connection with the city and its people, an artist’s love letter to the nation.
