St Joseph's Institution International School

SJI International High School opened its doors in 2007, and was followed in 2008 by SJI International Elementary School.

Together they are part of a group of seven Lasallian schools in Singapore with a history dating back to 1852.

Saint Joseph’s Institution, a Catholic school founded by the De La Salle Christian Brothers in 1852, embodies the tradition of St John Baptist de La Salle, the French priest who, in 1680, started this order of religious Brothers to provide education for poor boys in France.

So happy to hear about this school and it's programs. I am old De La Salle Christian Brothers boy from Sydney, Australia and they have always had an amazing reputation. Great to see this going so well here in Singapore.

As an Old De La Salle Brothers student from way back when I was a young boy living in melbourne Australia, I am delighted to read about this education solution right here in the heart of Singapore.

On investigation I have found that the Elementary School - which is ideal for families with young children to consider - who are newcomers to Singapore offers a range of Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) for children from Prep 1 to Grade 6.

They can choose from Sporting CCAs, Visual Arts CCAs, Performing Arts CCAs, Academic CCAs, Environmental CCAs, ICT CCAs and more.

They also offer Catechism Classes across all grades as well as an extensive range of individual Instrumental Music lessons and tutoring in several languages including Spanish.

In addition to the CCA programme, a dedicated PE Department runs a wide range of sporting teams and the Music Department runs several ensembles including string and choir
