Organic Onion

High in vitamin C, onions are a good source of dietary fiber and folic acid. They also contain calcium and iron, and have a high protein quality (ratio of mg amino acid/ gram protein).

Organic Garlic

Fresh Green Peppers or Chili Pepper

Chili peppers contain a substance called capsaicin, which is a potent inhibitor of substance P, a neuropeptide associated with inflammatory processes, making chillies a natural anti-inflammatory. Among other benefits, chilies also offer pain relief, cardiovascular benefits, they can clear congestion, boost immunity, and can help stop the spread of prostate cancer.

Organic Ginger

Ginger is commonly used to treat various types of stomach problems, including motion sickness, morning sickness, colic, upset stomach, gas, diarrhea, nausea caused by cancer treatment, nausea and vomiting after surgery, as well as loss of appetite.

Fresh Organic Horseradish

Horseradish is used for urinary tract infections, kidney stones, fluid retention, cough, bronchitis, achy joints (rheumatism), gallbladder disorders, sciatic nerve pain, gout, colic, and intestinal worms in children.

Turmeric (curcuma longa), is a powerful medicine that has long been used in the Chinese and Indian systems of medicine as an antiinflammatory agent to treat a wide variety of conditions including flatulence, jaundice, menstrual difficulties, bloody urine, hemorrhage, toothache, bruises, chest pain, and colic.

Meet Anne Hockett, Founder You!Healing

Anne HockettFor over 4 decades my life’s work has concentrated on the healthcare field. I have applied my work experience, research and teaching skills in Asia to better understand how modern medicine and traditional, gentle, natural approaches can be most effectively integrated.

Since 1983, I have worked in a variety of capacities with children and adults with physical and emotional needs. I specialize in the care of those managing cancer and heart disease, but my practice has broadened considerably over the years.

I am working with more and more young people, students, families, pregnant women, corporate clients and medical professionals.

I have worked with more than 1,000 students and teams of teachers in more than a dozen countries and the practice continues to grow steadily. Clients are either referred by their doctors, family members or satisfied You!Healing clients.

Prior to moving to Asia in 1989, I worked with the Ford Foundation, The U.S. National Academy of Sciences, and the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services. I have a Master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and a variety of training credentials in other health care and healing modalities including homeopathy, yoga therapy, healing breath work, meditation, guided imagery, and Reiki.

I am also deeply trained in mindfulness meditation and was selected to join Asia’s first health care professionals to be trained by Drs. Jon Kabat-Zinn and Saki Santorelli, both well known for their nearly 30 years of pioneering work in Mind Body Stress Reduction research. I am also one of the few Asian-based Mindfulness Practitioners trained in the U.S. by experts who are successfully integrating such techniques into school systems around the world. I’ve volunteered in schools across the region and have trained more than 700 students in breath work! I maintain close ties with a number of the world’s leading medical institutions and research organizations.

In February, 2016 I completed a 10 day intensive training with Colin Tipping, the pioneer in Radical Forgiveness. I’ve seen first-hand the need for forgiveness (granted and received) in the healing journey. In fact, without it, healing is just not possible. In April of 2017, I completed a year long integrated nutrition course as well as a plant-based medicine course. In May of 2018, I attended an intensive training with Dr. Brian Weiss in past-life regression techniques used to unlock old patterns and highlight past events that negatively impact healing.

I am happily the mother of two incredible daughters and married for 31 years. I have been dedicated to my personal mind body healing practice for more than 16 years, a practice that has lead to my sustained health and full recovery from a life-threatening heart condition.
