I'm sure you've felt a connection to this question before. Yoga practice during menstruation is a contentious topic. Some argue that no woman should practice yoga during her menstruation, while others argue that she should do everything.

Some advise practising inversions, while others advise avoiding them. Some argue that a strong practice is beneficial, while others advocate for restorative asanas.

For many females, the red visitor is not always welcome. For the most part, this is because it causes cramps. causes bloating, as well as mood swings, fatigue, and overall distress Nothing is easy to take, especially when it comes to booking your favourite yoga class of the week.

There are thousands of articles that talk about the same topic but in reality all of us receive the red Auntie every month.Culturally, it is also an important factor to consider, but my best advancement is always. It is perfectly safe to practice yoga during the menstrual cycle, regardless of position, and women should not be concerned about harming their reproductive organs. In fact, yoga is extremely beneficial also to pregnant women as the spine adjusts, and performing all yoga if not done correctly or adjusting to the pregnant state can cause back pain or injury. As a result, prenatal yoga classes are recommended during pregnancy.

The potential benefits of doing yoga during your period are numerous, but here are a few that are particularly noteworthy.

  • Menstrual cramps can be relieved with yoga. Even for a hot class, amazingly it will give you a big release.
  • When you're experiencing period fog, it can be beneficial to find a calm place in your mind. During those moments yoga can helps to connect mental, physical and spiritual body very easy
  • Slow and restorative yoga is a gentle way to keep your practice going and your body moving. Some females will go for the gentle approach that is it completely individual option
  • You release endorphins and can still feel a body high, which can be especially soothing during your period. As we know asanas help to regulate our hormones very easily.

The best advice or suggestion that I can give is -

A happy body combined with a happy mind equals a less painful and disruptive menstrual cycle.
